We recommend flying into San Luis Obispo County Airport, which is about 15 minutes from the venue. The airport serves connecting flights from: Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Denver and Dallas. If you're feeling adventurous, you can fly into LAX and take a 3.5 hour drive up the coast to San Luis Obispo!

You can choose to stay at the Madonna Inn itself, where we do have a room block. To book a room in our block, pleas use code #7027 or mention our group name "McDonald & Shahin Wedding Group." Please book directly with the Madonna to utilize the room block. Third party bookings will not be counted. For those looking to stay elsewhere, there are many hotels in downtown San Luis Obispo to choose from. Some local options we recommend are the Granada Hotel and Bistro (7 minute drive) and the San Luis Creek Lodge (5 minute drive). There are also numerous national chain hotels, such as the Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, etc.

If you are staying somewhere other than the Madonna Inn, you can park in the general parking lot in front of the hotel free of charge. If you are staying at the Madonna Inn, please follow reception's guidelines on guest parking.

The Madonna Inn is just a short 5-10 minute Uber/Lyft/Taxi from downtown San Luis Obispo!

Temperatures on the Central Coast in March are typically mid to upper 60s during the days and mid 40s to low 50s in the evening. We recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket for evening activities

The ceremony begins at 4pm in the Secret Garden (outdoors) at the Madonna Inn. Reception will follow in the Venetian Room (indoors)
